You'll learn principles of user-centered design, responsible visualization, and creativity for plots and dashboards.

Nadieh Bremer is a data scientist turned data visualization designer. She co-authored "Data Sketches" and was awarded "Best Individual" in the Information is Beautiful Awards in 2017. Nadieh has made visualizations and art for Google News Lab, Sony Music, UNICEF, the New York Times, and UNESCO. She was previously a data viz designer at Adyen and a consultant at Deloitte.

Maggie is a Webby-award winning creative director and cultural strategist. She develops medical research AI content and visuals for NYU Langone Health, is on the advisory board for the Better Images of AI project, is the creator of the "AI Yesterday" digital magazine about emerging AI futures, and is a visiting lecturer at Stanford University where she created and taught the "Entrepreneurship and the Arts" course. previously, she was a design lead for Google's "A to Z of AI" project.

Amanda is a data visualization leader and consultant. She helps companies develop data visualization capabilities and runs workshops on data storytelling and dashboard design. Amanda's research on communicating health information has been published in Fast Company and the New York Times. She co-hosts the popular Chart Chat podcast and is working on a new book, Dashboards that Deliver. Amanda is the Executive Director of the Data Visualization Society. Previously, she was the Director of AI & Analytics at Excella.
