I am a student; can I create a DataCamp Classroom?

No, but you can tell your teacher to apply for a DataCamp Classroom. Once approved, they can invite you in, extending premium access for you! Additionally, student-run clubs at accredited schools may apply for free access by applying to become DataCamp Donates partners.

  • Undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral professors, instructors, lecturers, and assistant professors at accredited higher education institutions worldwide.

Can I give my students free access to my DataCamp Classroom?

Yes, you can invite all of your students aged 17 and up int your group. In the US only, students aged 13 - 15 may be invited into the group as long as you (the high school teacher) obtain written consent from the students’ parents/legal guardians. Written consent forms are valid for six months from the start date of the DataCamp Classroom. Full full details, read our Terms of Use.

How long does it take for my DataCamp Classrooms application to be approved?

Our team will review your application within two-three business days and up to one week during peak times. We may also contact you if we need more information in order to approve your request. If our request for more information is not met within two weeks, the application will be automatically rejected and the applicant will have to reapply.

What is the difference between a DataCamp Classrooms and a DataCamp For Universities institution-wide plan?

DataCamp Classrooms is 100% free for educators and their students. Once you successfully apply for a DataCamp Classrooms, you gain free access for an entire semester (six months, then you are allowed to re-apply to maintain access) to DataCamp's 500+ course curriculum, certifications, and more.

The institution-wide plan is designed to service entire universities or departments within a university with everything DataCamp has to offer—whilst giving educators more control and visibility over the content and performance of their students.

How do I get an institution-wide plan?

Institution-wide plans are bespoke packages depending on the needs and ambitions of the partnering institution. Therefore, to maximize the learning experience for the students and educators, it’s not a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
