This exam is the same as the Associate level exam.

Tests your data management, programming, and modeling skills in R or Python, and SQL. To pass, you must perform data extraction, joining, aggregation, and cleaning in SQL, and assess and validate data quality. You should also be proficient in R or Python for similar tasks, including collecting data from non-standard formats. The exam requires preparing data for modeling, implementing and assessing supervised and unsupervised learning models, and writing production-quality code with functions, control flow, and loops. Additionally, you must demonstrate best practices in version control, testing, and package development.

The final step is a practical exam assessing your data visualization and communication skills. You will review a business problem, create visualizations, and provide a summary for a defined audience. The presentation must be recorded and submitted via the certification portal. To pass, you need to present data concepts to small, diverse audiences, use data visualization effectively, frame and summarize data stories, and communicate with business leaders using written and verbal methods.
