Before receiving the DataCamp Donates scholarship, I was a university student, and my economic situation was not very favorable. With this scholarship, I secured a job as a BI Analyst.

I found every aspect of DataCamp to be highly valuable. There was no content within DataCamp that I considered subpar; in fact, all the resources were beneficial. The SQL and Python Data Analyst tracks were particularly instrumental in helping me secure a job, and I completed almost all the tracks, gaining a wealth of knowledge. The DataCamp Donates scholarship made me feel immensely grateful for the opportunity it provided to enhance my skills and career prospects.

The skills I acquired on DataCamp were instrumental in securing my new job opportunity at Centegy Technologies. Specifically, the proficiency I gained in SQL and Python, which are highly sought-after skills in the field of data analysis, made me a strong candidate for the position. Additionally, the DataCamp Donates community provided invaluable support, allowing me to interact with fellow learners and professionals, exchange ideas, and seek guidance when faced with challenges. This collaborative environment and the knowledge I gained through DataCamp significantly boosted my confidence and competence, ultimately contributing to my successful job hunt.

DataCamp also set a path for my career advancement, which I plan to continue through further education and training on DataCamp. This opportunity holds significant promise for my professional growth and is poised to be highly beneficial for my future.

I would like to express that DataCamp is an exceptional resource for individuals interested in data science and data analysis. I have personally benefited significantly from it, and I believe that the continuous updates and expansion into areas like AI and machine learning will be highly advantageous for learners in the field. The Donates program has evolved to offer even more valuable content, and I am optimistic about the benefits it will bring to learners in the future.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Nathaniel helped create a program to give data education scholarships to disadvantaged and unemployed individuals through partnerships with NGOs. This CSR campaign evolved into DataCamp Donates, and now Nathaniel manages this program along with DataCamp Classrooms as DataCamp’s Social Impact Manager. Through those two programs, DataCamp has awarded data science education scholarships to almost a million unique learners and counting.
