A basic understanding of Power Query in Excel is also required. We recommend that you have completed the Data Preparation in Excel and Introduction to Power Query in Excel courses before starting this course.

It is recommended that you use Excel from Office 365 from Microsoft, as this version allows you to use all supported functionalities. Older versions, such as Excel 2021, Excel 2019, or Excel 2016, will support most of the functions introduced in this course but will be too limited for more advanced Excel courses on DataCamp.
