This Track will benefit anyone looking to use Python in a data science context. Examples of such roles include Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer or Research Scientist.

By completing this Track, you'll gain foundational knowledge in essential Python programming principles and techniques used in data science. This track will also give you experience working with different data types, such as strings and lists, developing data visualizations and using libraries like NumPy and Matplotlib.

This Track takes approximately 15 hours to complete - depending on the time that you dedicate to it.

A skill track focuses on acquiring a specific set of skills, such as those in the Python Fundamentals Track. A career track, on the other hand, guides learners through a professional trajectory meant to get them ready for a job, with courses and simulations.

Once you've completed all the courses and have gained the skills included in this Track, you will be able to print or share the certificate for this Track.
