The New Dimensions Program: Empowering Women in Ecuador

The New Dimensions Program, part of DataCamp Donates, is a one-year business intelligence initiative in Ecuador designed to empower women from disadvantaged backgrounds. Co-directed by Alonzo Quijano-Ruiz, the program provides technical training in data analysis and soft skills development, preparing participants for the job market. The curriculum includes tools like SQL, R, Python, and Power BI, combined with workshops on resume writing and interview preparation. The program has already seen significant success, with students securing positions in esteemed organizations. Alonzo highlighted the importance of combining hard and soft skills, stating, "Students will not only practice how to code a scatterplot but also how to communicate its message." This comprehensive approach ensures that participants are well-equipped to confidently enter the professional world.

DataCamp Classrooms: Supporting Educators

DataCamp Classrooms is another aspect of DataCamp's mission to democratize data science education, offering free access to educators worldwide.
