DataCamp Donates 2020/2021 Impact Report

By April 2020, 300,000 teachers and students worldwide had received at least six months of free data science education through DataCamp Classrooms. As numbers exploded, we realized that the pandemic created a deeper need for excellent and democratic data science education.

We wanted to help more people of different socioeconomic backgrounds—those who need career changes to survive. Partnering with NGOs to expand our reach, we came up with DataCamp Donates—our program that gives away DataCamp scholarships through nonprofit partner organizations.

This corporate social responsibility campaign democratized data science education during the pandemic. In its first year, DataCamp Donates partnered with 99 organizations to provide nearly 20K scholarships to people in need.
